In 1977 the Swedish supergroup ABBA made their first tour to Australia. Greeted by thousands of fans, it was an outstanding success – now ABBAWORLD, an extraordinary multimedia exhibition that covers all the glitz and glamour of ABBA, is set to do it all over again. Federation Square, situated right in the middle of Melbourne, is ready to open its gates to the Australian ABBA fans and host the only exhibition of its kind officially approved by the members of ABBA.

The phenomenon of ABBA is brought to life in over 25 spectacular environments and with many interactive highlights including ‘Perform with ABBA’, which allows fans to get up on stage with their idols as part of a stunning 3D holographic illusion. The ‘Tretow MIX Challenge’ gives visitors a chance to mix songs and re-create the ABBA sound while the ‘ABBA Quiz’ will test the fans’ knowledge. There is also the opportunity to sing along and dance with ABBA, plus a chance for fans to see themselves in an ABBA video!
